A few questions about Luxerion Hybrid Mattress

Hello!

I’m looking at your Luxerion Hybrid mattress right now and have a few questions. I saw on the post by another user the other day that this mattress leans towards the medium-plush side. I am 5’6" 200lb who tends to fall asleep on my side or back, but I sometimes end up on my stomach while asleep. Would this mattress have enough support for all the moving around I do? I also wonder if I find it too soft, would a firmer topper added help support? I’m very new to this and saw someone suggest elsewhere that you can soften a bed with toppers but not firm it up. Finally, I have a metal frame with slats that are about 5 3/4" apart from each other–would that work with this mattress or would adding some boards/plywood down to make a solid surface be sufficient support?

Hi Ellipsis and thanks for the inquiry and welcome to the forum! Based on the information you provided, I’d recommend ordering the Luxerion but please mention in the comments section at checkout that you want the top layer to be medium Talalay. There is now an extra charge of $100 for this, and this setup should be absolutely ideal for you!

Regarding the foundation, I recommend replacing it with something solid and sturdy like a platform or a slatted foundation with slats less than 3" apart ,or you can go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a piece of 1/2" or 3/4" plywood to put on top of the metal frame / foundation you have now.
