APM hybrid and adjustable base advice

Hello, after researching for a new mattress, we’ve settled on going with APM. We were unable to test any kind of latex product in our area, and am hoping to get some some direction.

We’re thinking of going with one of the twin xl hybrid offerings, with a split king adjustable base, also could use advice on a split king adjustable base. We currently have a medium solid memory foam mattress that is 4 years old and recently both have lower back pain after waking. I’m 5’10 160 lbs, she’s 5’1 115lbs. Both are 80% side, 20% back sleepers. From the memory foam hybrids (beautyrest black, ect.) we were able to try in stores, I seem to prefer medium, she seems to prefer slightly firmer feel. Thank you for your time. @Arizona_Premium

Sorry for the late reply, we were closed for the long weekend. Our Eco Sleep hybrid with a Medium Talalay for you and Firm Talalay for her along with the Bolsa coil upgrade would be the best configuration for a hybrid based on your info - Twin or TwinXL Eco Sleep Hybrid Mattress, Ultimate Hybrid- Coil/Latex

I’ve been using this split king adjustable base set for a month now, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CKSD9S2C. Can’t speak to long term quality but it seems well built and I am very happy so far. Has about every feature you could want. I know the same unit is sold by several mattress companies for significantly more. It is currently $1000 but I ordered it when it was sale for $700. It has been on sale for that price once at least once more since I ordered mine in July, so I would hold out for it to go on sale again. I’m currently using it with the two units synced together with a king mattress. I ordered two twin xl latex mattresses from APM last week to replace the king and will switch them to operate independently when the mattresses arrive.
