Can I use a semi-flex foundation with a Tempurpedic hybrid mattress?

Hi, we recently ordered a Tempurpedic Pro Breeze medium Hybrid mattress. They included this semi-flex foundation, and said that the Tempurpedic foundation is not necessary since Sealy owns Tempur. Is this foundation a good fit for the mattress we’re getting?

Tempurpedic recommends a platform. You can use a semiflex but you will likey void your warranty. If you buy one at a non authorized dealer or outlet, you dont get a warranty anyway. While the semiflex will work as the cover is pulled tight, when it stretches, that is where problems become more complicated.

But the fact still remains Tempurpedic recommends a platform. They likely do so because their mattresses will perform better and last longer.

Even when a non Tempurpedic store, like mattress firm suggests something other than a platform, it doesn’t mean they are correct. Just like some of the pillows mattress companies give you when you buy their mattress, they are usually giving you a pillow worthy of a decorative pillow sham cover at best. Not usually best for sleeping.

Lol, the line that tempur and sealy are the same, so its ok or acceptable, has to be one of the worst pieces of advice I heard. True they are the same parent company, but Tempurpedic has specific requirements.

OMG, where do they hire these people.
