OK, I know this may be far reaching but we recently got devastating news. My wife who is 35 yrs old and healthy just got diagnosed with Lukemia. We are in total shock. She is in Memorial Sloan Kettering now undergoing chemotherapy. In the beginning of April she had blood tests that were normal then in beg. June she had blood test that were NOT normal and found the chemo. Between this time we bought the Dreamfoam 12in1 and I just found out about the toxic chemicals in foam mattresses. Could this be the cause? Thanks very much
Hi Mstrlucky74,
I’m sorry to hear about your wife’s diagnosis … that would certainly be a shock to anyone in your circumstances. My thoughts are with you.
I’m not a doctor of course so I’m not qualified to determine the cause for any health issue that someone may have and I’ll leave that to the health professionals, but the polyfoam in the Dreamfoam is CertiPur certified so it certainly wouldn’t be the cause of your wife’s Leukemia.

Thanks Phoenix…I’m glad to hear that it’s not the cause. What exactly does CertiPur mean?
Hi Mstrlucky74,
CertiPur* tests for harmful substances and VOC’s in the polyfoam and memory foam used in mattresses. They have a list of mattress manufacturers here which are certified (which includes Brooklyn Bedding and Dreamfoam Bedding) and the foam producers that are certified are listed here. You can see what they test for here**.
** Always check CertiPur site for the latest guidelines available
