What is a good source for high-quality HD polyfoam? Most talk on material sources are for latex and memory foam. I like the DIY Foam Base Core from diymattress.net, but I can feel depressions after just a couple nights of sleep.
Foam Factory foam is even worse (I’ve just learned of their poor reputation). I bought a good mattress that I liked for a few years, and the inside was just a single type of polyfoam with a 1" latex layer on top, so I don’t have unrealistic expectations.
Getting good quality polyurethane is a battle, since most companies want to go with an overseas or even domestic inferior foam in order to save on cost. It would be good if you got the specifications before you purchase the foam next time in order to save you on the cost and trouble. We aren’t the cheapest, but we may have what you are looking for and our foams usually hold up far better, since they are all USA made and are very high quality. I would want to explore this before selling you just any foam, as we only like to sell the right type of foam for a customer’s needs.
