Does anyone the Hastens flipping and massaging routine?

Just wondering because if I buy a Hastens on the secondary market, I wont be able to have someone massage the BJX Luxury topper. I guess the “turn and flip” the mattress too. I can turn and flip. I dont know much about massaging the topper.

I know the “sleep luxury” on youtube had a short video on it. I dont know if that video was comprehensive.

Anyone know about this?i

You’re right…if you buy a Hästens mattress on the secondary market, you likely won’t have access to their in-home service for massaging the BJX Luxury topper (can you somehow subscribe to that separately, ha).

As you know already, you can still maintain it yourself with some effort.

The massaging process is essentially a way to redistribute the natural materials (like horsehair and wool) inside the topper to prevent them from compressing unevenly over time. While Hästens-trained technicians do it in a very specific way, you can try a DIY approach:

  • Lay the topper on a flat surface.
  • Use your hands to gently knead and lift the materials, working from the center outward.
  • Shake it out and give it a good fluff to help aerate the fibers.
  • Regularly rotate and flip the topper (every few months) to even out wear.

As for the mattress itself, turning and flipping it as recommended should help maintain even support. Even without professional service, proper care should still help prolong the life of the mattress and topper.

I did find this video from Sleep Luxury.

I think that having a team come out and condition a topper anc mattress is great. Im just not sure if it is worth $25k or more to me.
