Hi! I have been shopping mattresses for a while. And I have tried a few mattresses but so far none of them feels comfortable. Now I’m considering buying a cheap extra firm spring mattress with little foam on it and then add a latex topper. This seem to be a budget choice and the overall result will be similar. Any suggestion on that?

Thank you for your inquiry! There are a couple variables that help decide what latex density you should place on top of your mattress. For one, the overall support of the mattress itself can determine what latex layer you will need. Secondly the weight(s) of the individuals sleeping on the mattress can also be a determining factor as to the density of topper.
