We’re redoing one of our guest rooms with two twin beds. We already have the actual beds — traditional wood frame with headboard, with added box spring. Now need mattresses and I’m in analysis paralysis. Would prefer hybrid, would prefer latex over foam, and want to stay under $500 for twin size. Since the beds won’t be slept on daily, I don’t need something that’s going to have to withstand daily use, and since beds will be used by a variety of sleepers, I need something that will best suit a variety of sizes and sleep positions. Oh, and something with a good no-hassle return policy.
Part of me just says to heck with it, and go get the cheapest mattress available at Mattress Firm! Please talk me out of this option
It is not always easy to find that needle in a haystack, particularly when a modest budget and latex is involved. But we are the Mattress UnderGround, and as always remain neutral and unbias to whom we recommend.
Based on your description and usage requirements I would recommend the Brooklyn Bedding Dreamfoam latex hybrid. In the twin size it falls right within your requirements. Dreamfoam Latex.
While it is certainly possible to collaborate with someone like @Arizona_Premium or @Latex_Mattress_Fact1 or @DIYMattress, attempt to purchase a 2 or 3" twin latex layer, a twin spring support from @PCS and a cover, you may find it easier to just purchase a predesignated mattress albeit a budget model.
This is what we call a “loss leader” in marketing terms, which basically means when we sell it we’re losing money, but we price it to be this inexpensive so we can start bringing in new customers and over time those new customers will generate repeat customer orders and referrals orders.
I’m not saying this just to say this, I’ve actually been on this mattress for almost 9 years and it’s the best mattress I’ve ever had, I think it’d be a great choice!
