Hi!
I’m wondering if anyone has purchased a mattress from the Haltom Mattress Factory in Ft. Worth, TX. Or if anyone has heard anything about them.
I went today to look at them and they seemed okay. I’m looking for something that I can flip and they only had one they make that is flippable.
Do y’all think that a flippable mattress is important? I really miss that about my old mattresses; it was like getting a new bed every time I flipped it.
Thank you!
Pam
Hi Pamnorp.
Welcome to our Mattress Forum.
I tried to do a little Google sleuthing but didn’t find a ton about them. Is it true they manufacture their own mattresses? That’s always a good sign.
Flippable beds aren’t entirely necessary. If you’re buying a latex hybrid, for example, the life of the bed is close to 20 years and doesn’t need to be flipped. But, there’s nothing wrong with a flippable bed if that’s what you like.
That said, a durable mattress is going to feel like a new bed every night for a decade or two
What other kinds of beds are they making at Haltom? And what is it you’re hoping to get from your new mattress?

Yes, they are manufacturing their own product but I’m not sure the types of beds.
The lady there was incredibly unhelpful though; almost like I was bothering her and she couldn’t get me out of there fast enough. I keep thinking That should be clue shouldn’t it?
