Ikea ESPEVĂ„R Mattress Base

I currently have a Puffy Mattress that is current placed on their branded mattress foundation. I am looking to utilize this Ikea Espevar mattress base.

It is a slatted base. My question is, would this sort of mattress work only being placed on this mattress base? Or do I need a bed frame, mattress base, mattress? Or does mattress base, Puffy mattress suffice?

From their website it looks like you can place it on any type of base including a slat base, and you don’t need anything else.
