Looking to replace my c. 2007 Sealy Reflexion latex mattress - suggestions?

Have a plush top Sealy Reflexion (Huntington Beach?) from around 2007 or so that is end-of-life and we want to replace. Looks like Sealy has discontinued this line, so a direct 1-for-1 replacement is not possible. The new line of Sealy latex (“Natural Comfort”?) looks like it’s in the $3.5k USD range. Any other suggestions for alternatives? Not adverse to spending money, but it looks like there are many new options for 100% latex mattresses in the marketplace now that didn’t exist when I bought my current mattress. If Sealy i still the best option then so be it, but don’t want to buy one blindly due to loyalty either.

Hi Pangu,

If you’d like to consider a Talalay Latex Mattress designed specifically for you, take a look at Custom Sleep Technology. If you submit your Body Profile we will create a mattress specifically for your body characteristics. This is a new patented technology that was introduced to the market within the last two years.

Arizona Premium Mattress has been specializing in Latex Mattresses for over 27 years since we first started selling online in 1997. Many years ago we took apart a Sealy Reflexion model and posted the video on Youtube showing why their design would fail. Although the latex part was fine it was all the other junk that they put into the mattress that caused the failure. We don’t use any poly foam or other junk in our designs. Might want to take a look at our product line as you might be very surprised at the value we offer.

Hello and welcome! Latex mattresses are very popular right now, so you should have some options. Two well-known brands that we carry are Obasan and Savvy Rest - both are customizable to your desired firmness/plushness. Our private label brand is the Hudson mattress which is also all latex, but not customizable.

All of these are high-quality mattresses made of durable latex (no blended latex, memory foam, or fillers) and carry a 10-20 year warranty.
Hope this helps!

You should seriously consider the Beloit Mattress Company or Shovlin mattress in New Jersey if you’re crazy like me and want to get the best value from a small local company.

Be weary all the “S” companies as they are not producing the quality that these two mom and pop brands. I went cross country mattress shopping and looked at 4 companies total. Beloit in Wisconsin, my winning choice, ended up buying an orthopedic tufted firm king set, went to visit them in person and would highly recommend any latex bed for their price point as the quality is tremendous.

Made by hand, extra durable Amish made box springs, top notch company all around. Would trust them wholeheartedly.

How does the orthopedic tufted mattress feel? Is that the one with only springs and cotton?
