Hello, I recently bought a Brooklynn Bedding (BB) Aurora Luxe mattress from a local clearance center. However, the top (part you lay on) looks different from the photos on BB’s site. The model name was different as well, it is called the Haven.
Photo of bed top and infographic seller sent me: Imgur: The magic of the Internet (he had the firm in stock, I wound up getting the medium from him)
It is definitely not the Aurora, which came before the Aurora luxe. What you have to remember is that BB private labels mattresses for a host of private stores, companies and institutions. I dont remember seeing one with double zoning in the body of the mattress plus on the edge.
The pattern on the cover is similar to the pillow top versions of several of their mattresses. The fact is it may be impossible to know which mattress it is based off of.
Here is the same mattress sold under a different model name. Brooklyn Bedding uses 3 basic spring support layers currently as they try to consolidate among the brands. Yours and the one here has a double zone in the body as I mentioned before.
It really is a unique model made for the independent market.
Thank you for clearing that up for me! That would explain why the picture was a bit different, I did not know that mattress companies did this sort of thing. I suppose the additional zoning area is beneficial, so I’ll call it a win.
