What are some good mattress stores and manufacturers for people that live in Massachusetts? My wife and I both wake up with lower back pain and think that a pocketed coils or latex cores would be a big improvement.

Our mattress showroom is just over the NH border and we service many people from both Northern and Southern Massachusetts.
We offer several varieties of pocketed coil mattresses and latex mattresses, as well as hybrids that are a combination of the two. You can browse here. We have sales frequently!

On a personal note, my spouse has suffered most of his life with lower back pain, and having a mattress that is the correct firmness is so helpful in managing that.
