Hi, looking for best option (In Canada) for 2 side sleepers, 200lbs and 125lbs from full latex. Looking at MFC and Fawcett. Fawcett offers Galiano ($4400 approx.) 6inch medium base+3 inch soft topper but as two separate mattresses on top of each other… both are Talalay
MFC offer more options with Presto ($3400 approx) but only Dunlop. Would it better to have 2x 2inch Soft Dunlop, plus 2-2-2c(inch) medium Dunlop or 3-3(inch) Dunlop on bottom for support? What is the difference if you get 3 x 2inch vs 2x3inch Dunlop, which is softer combination? Thank you
The 2" layers in the Organic Presto will give you more options. You can always rearrange or exchange a few layers if you need to adjust or fine tune your comfort and support levels.
You can follow this link to get examples of the layering we suggest based on your sleeping styles.
I hope this helps you make the right choice and please let me know if you need anything else,
What is the firmness difference you you go with 2 of 3inch Medium Dunlop vs 3x2inch Dunlop? Woudl 3 layers be softer? so total 5 layers for the mattress? I read online that some Dunlop 2inch varies in density/firmness and is not consistent and its better to get 1 x 6 inch piece for support? Thank you,
3 x 2" layers will be slightly softer than 2x 3" layers in the same firmness. Yes each 2" layer will vary a little in density / firmness so if you want a firmer more consistent feel the 6" firm latex core is superior in that sense.
If you prefer the 6" core version we offer the Unison Organic Latex Mattress with 2 x 2" top layers to fine tune your comfort / support level.
