Need a Dunlop Topper

I bought a Cozy Core “firm” Dunlop mattress from CozyPure. I had expected it to be firm but it is pretty hard - there is very little give to it. The site doesn’t say what ILD it is.
I don’t like a soft sinking feeling - and don’t like the idea of getting a soft topper. I’d like a firm feel but wonder if getting a medium 2 inch Dunlop topper would be enough to counter the hard mattress.
I’d appreciate any advice.

Hello Silve,
First of all, kudos for getting a topper for your mattress. Not only does it make for more comfortable sleep (at least it should), but it reduces wear and tear on the mattress.

We typically recommend at least a 3-inch topper if someone is looking for cushioning - especially when the customer really needs it to counteract a very firm mattress.

Thank you for your help TheCleanBedroom - much appreciated.

I’d like to clarify that the Cozy Core CozyPure mattress was clearly stated to be “firm”. It is a lovely mattress that can be flipped.

The mistake was mine. It was my misconception that “firm” was firm with give. I should have tried some mattresses locally to get a feel for different softness levels.
