Hello! First off, thank you so much for this community resource, it’s been invaluable to me in my deep dive into mattresses (man, I had no idea what I was getting myself into and now I feel like the princess and the pea hahah).
We ended up purchasing a Parklane Hawthorne mattress (Hawthorne Plush - BedMart) and within the first couple of months it’s already bowing in the places where my partner and I sleep. Neither of us are large people, and in fact I’m quite small, so this is confusing to me. I see that they’re a manufacturer you admire but I’m also having difficulty finding them online to chat them up directly, or here in your list of manufacturers anymore so—do you know if maybe I waited too long and now they’re making sub-par products for a bigger name company? The mattress is otherwise quite comfortable, so I guess I’m really just trying to find out if this is an manufacturing issue or if it’s to be expected here. Thank you for any direction you can give us!
Hi itsellen,
Welcome to the Mattress UnderGround and joining the site as the affectionately known, MUGster.
I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re experiencing with your Parklane Hawthorne mattress. It’s understandable to feel frustrated, especially when you’ve invested in a product you were hoping would meet your expectations.
Parklane is a division of Paramount Bedding, a company that has been manufacturing mattresses in Oregon since 1921.
At this point refraining from offering opinions on what might be the problem is premature. It may be a number of issues consisting of a bad layer of foam, defective mattress, or a simple body impression which may require a routine mattress rotation.
I would suggest contacting Parklane via Paramount Bedding and see what help or advice they could offer you. Then circle back here with their response.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention as it may help others in their search for a better night sleep.

Thank you for this super fast response!
I’ll be back if I hear any more information, but for posterity: my resulting email to the parklane email address listed on their weebly site immediately bounced back, and the address listed for their showroom is that of a BedMart (which is the company I purchased the mattress from). Contacting BedMart for info they just referred to me start a warranty claim at a third-party site (https://mymattresswarranty.com/). Ahh, boo.

Yes, please report back and let the rest of the forum know how you do, and if they respond. This clearly is a frustrating experience.
