Hi and thank you in advance. We have a king size latex bed. It’s four 3” layers. I think a total of 250lbs.
We are moving long distance and will be storing the bed for several months. I need to make sure what ever method I used to pack the layers protects them and doesn’t cause damage (moisture, splitting/tearing, etc).
I’ve seen the videos that manufacturers put out showing you how to pack the layers in order to ship them back to the manufacturer. But maybe that method isn’t protective, it’s just a means to return it.
One of the videos I saw shows the king size layer being folded over before being rolled and vacuum sealed. But it looked in the layer was splitting open where it was folded.
I’ve left a second message in two weeks for the manufacturer from whom we purchased, but have not heard back, so I need general advise please. And thank you.
