I wasn’t in the market for a mattress at all until last night. I just happened to lay on the TP Rhapsody Breeze while my sister was talking to the salesman about the mattress she was looking for and the couple of minutes I spent laying on it changed my mind about not wanting a new mattress. That’s until I saw the $3699 price tag for a queen. So I started doing some research and this site helped me find the Select Foam Regalis and from what I have read on this forum it seems to be a reasonably priced option that is comparable to the Rhapsody. I plan on calling them tomorrow and seeing if it is a good choice for me.
For anyone that owns one already, is it really a close comparison?
While I don’t own one myself so I can’t give you the benefit of my personal experience (and hopefully some others that do will see your post and chime in) … I can tell you that “feel” is subjective so while many may say yes … there will also be some who say no for various reasons because the feel and performance of memory foam can vary with temperature, humidity, and the amount of time the foam is compressed (it softens over the course of the night) as well as the age of the Rhapsody you tested and how much it has softened in the showroom. You can read a little more about “matching” one mattress to another in post #9 here and Select Foam is designed to be a close approximation in all the ways that are mentioned. The ultimate test though is your own perceptions and experience and this is why their return policy is also an important part of their “value” so that you can be the ultimate judge
