About Sigma Mattress
Founded in 2008 by Ukrainian immigrant Alex Pavlenko, Sigma Mattress was built on the belief that luxury sleep shouldn’t come with a luxury price tag. After 20 years in the mattress industry, Alex left a high-paying job to create high-quality, handcrafted mattresses at an affordable price. Sigma’s reputation for comfort, durability, and value spread purely by word of mouth.
Upon Alex’s retirement, Vladimir Vilkhovoy, a close friend and entrepreneur, took over the business, continuing the commitment to craftsmanship, customer service, and affordability.
