About The Pocket Coil Store

Founded by Matan Wolfson in early 2020, The Pocket Coil Store (PCS) supplies pocket coil units for mattresses and DIYers to cater to customers interested in crafting their DIY mattresses, providing them with access to high-quality pocket springs. PCS is the official single-unit store for Texas Pocket Springs units.

PCS offers various wire gauges, ensuring each unit is tailored to customer support needs.

The Pocket Coil Store Products & Designs

(8") Quad Coils Support Layer ~ offered in three versions
15.5g Medium | 14.75g Medium-Firm/Firm | 13.5g X-firm
all versions have firm sides, the side coils are 13.5 gauge
(3") Quad MiniCoil Comfort Layer ~ 18g wire

  • Power-loaded Coils ~ known as pre-loaded or power-packing. This improves the durability of the coil system and eliminates sag by utilizing a coil that is 2" taller than the pocket. When the coil is encased in the fabric, it must be pre-loaded to fit which means it’s constantly applying force to the pocket, preventing sagging.

  • PowerBand ~ The PowerBand is a belt designed to provide increased coil stability to the system by preventing leaning and coil migration. With the additional support, the QUADCOIL maintains its integrity over traditional pocketed spring systems.

  • Height Profiles ~ The Micro Coil is (3") and the QUADCOIL is (8")

  • Glueless Options ~ PTS’s Patented Glueless technology reduces the system weight and shipping cost is 100% sustainable is much more durable.

    • Increased Durability ~ The thermally welded bond is more permanent than a glue bond
    • Heat-resistant ~ temperature does not affect the welded bond. (Units loaded in semi-trailer can reach temperatures that exceed 140 degrees Fahrenheit which can adversely affect hot melt glue). Temperatures below freezing make glue brittle, which can cause the units to break apart.

  • QuadMini As a 7-turn coil at 18" gauge, will not take a set like a foam edge.

  • SIDE EDGE SUPPORT ~ provide a firmer edge-to-edge outer row of coils to prevent roll-off and to increase the durability and usable surface of the product.

Its great to help lend advice where we can. Anything pocket coil related please feel free to ask us questions. This is a great platform to listen to real consumers and try and educate you on what makes a good pocketed coil. Our QuadCoil is a patented assembly process that we believe is the best performing pocket unit in the industry. Its made with the highest grade raw materials and our newest system produces the units without using any glue.

Of course. Here is a basic run down.
Texas Pocket Springs Highlights

We hold over a dozen patents on pocketed coil design and pocket coil assembly. We don’t develop products for a sales story, we develop products that improve the quality and feel of a mattress.

All units are made with our patented QuadCoil design. Two rows of coils are thermally welded together creating a pod of four coils.

Advantages of the Texas Pocket Springs QuadCoil® innerspring are as follows:

• The belt around the girth of the QuadCoil®, ensures that all coils are held in an upright position, eliminating leaning coils, allowing each coil to perform 100% efficiently

• The QuadCoil® eliminates the potential of layers of foam or other insulators from falling between the coils. Therefore, it is not necessary to glue a flysheet on top of the innerspring which creates noise and a trampoline effect.

• The belted QuadCoil® creates a very stable innerspring unit that will keep its form and shape, both in the manufacturing process and in normal to severe mattress use.

• The QuadCoil® eliminates hitching coils where adjacent coils hitch onto each other.

• Unlike conventional pocket coils which have a top closing seam, the belted QuadCoil® has a center seam, eliminating false loft. Two rows of pocket coils are Ultra-sonically welded together by a weld through this seam (belt) which results in a weld through eight layers of fabric, this ensures a lifetime weld.

• Because the QuadCoil® modules are made up of two rows of coils welded together, half the amount of glue is needed to bond the rows of coils together, which reduces the potential of the rows breaking apart by 50%.

• Our patented technology eliminates the need to turn the coil in its pocket. (The conventional way of producing a pocketed coil turns the coil in its pocket) We can therefore use a softer more pliable and less noisy fabric to create the pockets.

• Belted QuadCoil® Technology prevents the migration of coils, ensuring a totally functional innerspring for the life of the mattress.

• Texas Pocket Springs only uses high tensile copper or nickel washed wire +/-300,000 pounds per sq.inch. The Copper or nickel inhibits rust in humid conditions

• Made with 100% virgin spundbond polypropylene produced on Reicofil machinery.

• Made with 97% high carbon recycled steel.
