Thoughts on Eos classic?

I have been doing some research and landed on the Eos classic as a possibility. I like the swappable latex comfort layer, but would love to hear from others who have had it for some time. How does it hold up? Any complaints?

Hello Traveler, welcome to the Mattress Underground! :slightly_smiling_face:

This mattress has been in our showrooms for many years. It is quite popular, and we have had very few complaints about it. In the rare event of a complaint, it is remedied quickly, and Naturepedic is quick to stand behind their products.

As you know, there is a good warranty and a comfort swap option. The mattresses are built to last.

The swappable layers that you mentioned are great - not only to get the comfort you need now, but if you need to make a change later, you don’t have to buy a whole new mattress.

The zipper and case, as well as the other components, are well-built and are quite heavy-duty. I hope this helps!

Hi Traveler and welcome to the Mattres Underground

Thanks Katie @TheCleanBedroom for the insight! The Naturepedic EOS, being all latex, should hold up well for most sleepers. As you likely know any mattress you choose will be based on your Stats (height, BMI, sleeping position(s) and any underlying health conditions) and your PPP (Posture & alignment, Pressuret relief, and Personal preferences).

As you can see comparing the the Mattress Specifications You Need To Know to the Mattress Durability Guidelines, latex is one of the most durable materials you can have in a mattress, and the swappable layers allow for you to adapt your mattress to any changes in your sleep profile, and as @TheCleanBedroom said their cover and components are well made…as long as you can match your firmness you should have a good durable mattress that lasts for many years!

Naturepedic EOS?

Went to their store and tried all of them. I didnt like any of them. No wow moments….quite ordinary to me. Layers can be swapped out. With that said,.,try it! You might like it!

They have microcoils layers which is rare!!!

John

I should mention here that the Naturepedic EOS mattress is a hybrid mattress, constructed with an 8" coil support layer and a 3" comfort latex layer. The EOS pillowtop has an additional 3" latex layer. Any of those components can be swapped out. It is hybrid rather than all-latex. And BillyIdol is right - for those with latex allergies, the microcoil option is available for the comfort layer. There is also a vegan option, made without wool, available.
