I live in Kentucky and have a king size SavvyRest Serenity Organic Latex Mattress and Bedworks of Maine Freeport wood frame in need of a new home. I’m moving, and this 4 year old mattress won’t fit into my new small house. The mattress retails for $4700. The frame retails for $500.
The mattress is made of 3 layers of latex. Each layer is divided in half, so what it really has is 6 twin sized pieces of talalay latex all zipped up in a quality cotton mattress cover. You can rearrange the pieces to change how the bed feels. My mattress has 4 pieces of firm density latex, 1 of medium density and one soft. My bed frame is the clear finish.
I’m asking $1000 for it all, but I’m negotiable on the price. I’d really just like to find someone to use it. It’s a great bed, and since it needs to be taken apart to be moved I don’t have a lot of confidence that it’ll stay intact and get used properly if I donate it somewhere.
Maybe someone in the region is looking for a savvyrest mattress?
I just want to clarify - your mattress actually has 6 Twin XL layers inside of the cover, and not 6 Twin layers (Twin mattresses/layers are 6" shorter than king and Twin XL mattresses/layers).
