Looking for mattress recommendations for Vancouver; side and back sleeper about 260lbs 6’2" budget about $1200 ok with hybrid or latex have some lower back pain but not severe

Hi: Thanks for the response. I am looking for a queen size and I prefer a firmer mattress; do not want to feel like I am sinking into it but of course I need proper support as I have some lower back issues

If you want a firm mattress I suggest a 6" / 2lb high density core like these here topped off with either a 2" organic dunlop latex topper or a memory foam topper depending on your preferences. Here’s a short video I did explaining the difference between the 2. This combination will come well under your budget and will give you a mattress that should last for up to 10 years.

Hi Mario: Thanks for the info. I am a little concerned about the topper - there appears to be no means of attaching it to the mattress other than with a fitted sheet. I am worried about movement but I have never had a topper so maybe not as issue. Would it be possible to get straps attached to the topper that would fit over the mattress to secure it in place? I would prefer latex and I am wondering if 2" is enough given my size.

Toppers are usually placed over the mattress and then covered with a mattress protector and your fitted sheets. This holds the topper in place and it may only need repositioning a few times per month.
If you prefer, we can place the toppers inside the mattress cover for you at no extra cost. This will minimize shifting of the 6" core and the 2", 3" or 4" top layers.

How about a 3" 30 ILD latex layer instead of the two as I prefer a firm feel? Do you have any display mattresses in Delta?
