On one of my latex toppers I just received there are 6 circular marks evenly spaced on one of the sides. I am wondering what they are, and if its anything that should be of concern at all?
Looks like some sort of factory repair but nothing to be concerned about.
Hi Rtheory,
A circular indentation may have been present inside the latex mold, leaving a mark on the latex topper during the manufacturing process. The reassuring aspect is that this does not impact the quality, comfort, or warranty of your topper.
It’s important to note that organic dunlop latex can have imperfections. You can draw parallels between organic Dunlop latex and a finely crafted wood furniture piece with colour variations or a weathered leather jacket bearing scars. These handmade natural items possess a distinctive charm, transcending their imperfections. The inherent flaws seamlessly integrate into their composition, becoming integral elements that contribute to their individual and captivating beauty.
In spite of the aesthetic flaws present in natural latex, we hold a strong conviction that its exceptional qualities make it the optimal choice for mattresses cores and comfort layers.
I hope this answers your questions,
All the best!
Yes those are from the mold the latex was baked in, we see it all the time and it’s definitely nothing to be concerned about.
