What kind of base would be good for the Flobeds mattress?

I’ve done a lot of research and am seriously thinking about investing in the Flobed vZone12". The hardwood slotted platform offered by Flobeds looks amazing but I probably cannot afford the mattress and the platform. I was thinking of purchasing a separate foundation to place on my queen bed frame. My questions are 1) What kind of foundation would work best with the Flobeds mattress? What kind of specs? and 2) I was wondering if something like the foundation offered by Spindle would work with the Flobeds mattress. Thanks! Krista

I see FloBeds is also tagged here, so hopefully we hear from them directly. Obviously, the best base is always going to be the one provided by the manufacturer.

The Spindle foundation appears to be adequate in terms of slat spacing, but you’d want to confirm that it can handle the weight of your current mattress.
