Which aireloom should i buy?

Hi – I tried the following 3 mattresses in the store and I liked all 3 mostly equally. The Luxetops are uneven (whereas the Streamline is very even) so that is going to take some adjustment, but on the other hand I found them more plush in a positive way. I’m a side sleeper.

If I’m roughly indifferent, and the price difference doesn’t matter to me, which would you recommend I get:

  1. Streamline Luxury Firm: Streamline™ Luxury Firm - Luxury Mattress | AIRELOOM
  2. Luxetop M1 Plush: Luxetop™ M1 Plush - Luxury Mattress | AIRELOOM
  3. Luxetop M1 Firm: Luxetop™ M1 Firm - Luxury Mattress | AIRELOOM

Thanks

As a side sleeper, choosing the right mattress is crucial for ensuring both comfort and proper support. Among the Aireloom mattresses you’ve tested, the Luxetop M1 Plush seems like the most suitable option given its softer, more cushioned feel. This plushness is beneficial for side sleepers as it allows for better pressure relief on areas such as the shoulders and hips, helping to alleviate discomfort and promote a more restful sleep.

The Streamline Luxury Firm offers a more balanced support with a firmer feel. While this option may not be as soft as the Luxetop M1 Plush, it provides a more even support which could be advantageous if you’re seeking a compromise between comfort and durability. It’s a good choice if you’re concerned about the potential longevity of a softer mattress.

The Luxetop M1 Firm, on the other hand, delivers a firmer support which might not be as ideal for side sleepers. It provides solid support, but the lack of plush cushioning could lead to discomfort or pressure points on the shoulders and hips over time.

Regarding edge support, some Aireloom models use high-density foam edge support, which is intended to maintain mattress shape and stability around the edges. This type of foam is supposed to prevent sagging and provide a consistent feel when sitting or lying near the edge of the bed. On the other hand, edge-to-edge coils offer a different kind of support, providing robust and even support across the entire sleeping surface, this video explains the different types of edge support and how they respond and last.

If plushness and comfort are your top priorities, the Luxetop M1 Plush is likely the best choice for you. However, if you’re looking for a balance between comfort and durability, the Streamline Luxury Firm might be worth considering.

If edge support is a critical factor, high-density foam is generally initially better for consistent edge stability, but edge-to-edge coils can offer even support across the mattress surface.

Tough choice, but you have to remember your PPP’s (Personal Preferences, Posture and Alignment and Pressure Relief),

I removed your other post to avoid duplication.
Good luck deciding.

The Luxetops are better for side sleepers. Go back and try Luxetop Firm and Plush. I like Luxetop Firm myself. You will probably like Luxe Plush for side sleeping. They do sell a latex topper too. Try topper on top of Luxe Firm!!!

With that said……choose whatever feels best….including Streamline Luxury Firm. I felt the Luxetops were a bit more plush than Streamline.

I will chime in here since I have tested those models many times at our flagship store in Agoura Hills, CA and say that since price does not matter, you may want to consider the M2 luxury plush, as it get’s you closer to the M1 firm support, but without as much sinking as you would get with the M1 plush, which may cause back issues if you are not used to a softer mattress. The microcoils in the M1 series are what may account for the uneven feeling you are noting though, but they do add a way of giving you a softer feel, with a more buoyant lift.

Are you saying that the M1 plush is softer than the M2 plush? I just tried both of them this afternoon and it felt to me like the other way around. Does the additional layer of microcoils in the M2 make it firmer? They both did feel wonderful.

I also tried M2 firm, but there was no M1 firm available to try so I can’t compare those.
